C3 is a dual-admission, dual-enrollment program between N.C. State and 蜜桃视频. 蜜桃视频 students who are admitted into the program receive guaranteed admission to NC State while finishing their degree at 蜜桃视频. 

C3 provides support for students during their time at 蜜桃视频 and prepares them for transferring to N.C. State. Admitted students will have the opportunity to use N.C. State鈥檚 student information system and online advising systems, speak with an academic advisor at both institutions, and participate in specialized C3 activities.

C3 is just one of 10 guaranteed admission programs that 蜜桃视频 has with four-year N.C. colleges and universities. Alexander first applied to the Pirate Promise program with East Carolina, but he switched his focus to the C-STEP program at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Working with Quentin Locklear, guaranteed admission advisor at 蜜桃视频, Alexander got accepted into C-STEP.

However, Alexander realized his educational plan was better suited with another equally prestigious university: NC State.

鈥淪ince I am working toward a certificate in Mechatronics Engineering Technology at 蜜桃视频 and due to the fact that I wanted to partake in my final year at REaCH, I decided to apply for the C3 Program at NC State,鈥� Alexander said.

The certificate in Mechatronics Engineering Technology would have pushed him over the transferable credit limit with the C-STEP program.

While already an N.C. State student under the C3 program, Alexander will transfer to NC State at the start of the 2025 fall semester. He plans to go into the joint biomedical engineering program between NC State and UNC-Chapel Hill.

Alexander鈥檚 career plan is to become a medicinal chemist.

鈥溍厶沂悠� has helped me reach my educational goals by allowing me to take college courses while attending high school in the REaCH program. Plus, if I wasn鈥檛 attending 蜜桃视频, I wouldn鈥檛 have been able to apply for this guaranteed admission program,鈥� he said.
