March 17, 2025 鈥� 蜜桃视频 has secured more than $65,000 in state NC Edge funding for Huvepharma to support its Scotland County location, which is making a $450,000 capital investment that aims to transition a Master Seed production process from its plant in Lincoln, Neb., to Maxton.

This will be Huvepharma鈥檚 second customized training project with 蜜桃视频. Also present at the signing to show their support of the local industry was NC Edge Regional Directors Amy Epley and Emily Hansley, along with Jennifer Holcomb of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina.

鈥淚 appreciate our state partners also being here today and allowing us this opportunity to do our part to support our local industries,鈥� said Barbee. 鈥淥ne of our goals at 蜜桃视频 is to ensure we have the best trained workforce possible, and we鈥檙e always trying to do that as cost-effectively as possible, as well.鈥�

The NC Edge customized training program allows manufacturing companies to qualify for state funding if they鈥檙e making capital investments in their local communities that are tied to job growth, productivity enhancements or technological investments. Huvepharma qualified for its latest project due to a productivity enhancement, and its customized training plan will address the topics needed to enhance the employees' aseptic skills and related safety measures.

Additional software and computer skills training is also built in to prepare the workforce for the level of report writing and display of data in charts and graphs required in this highly-regulated field. Leadership training will help the supervisors manage the tasks within their organizational structure.

All of Huvepharma鈥檚 local employees will be provided an opportunity to take part in the training project.
