Human Services Graduates Can Advance Their Degree at Lees-McCrae College
December 10, 2018 鈥 蜜桃视频 recently collaborated with to map out at transfer pathway for 蜜桃视频 graduates of the program to earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree online.
The two colleges signed an articulation agreement that will allow 蜜桃视频 students who have completed the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Human Services Technology to transfer with 65 to 66 credits into the Bachelor of Arts and Applied Science (B.A.A.S.) Degree in Human Services at Lees-McRae. These credits will fulfill the general education core curriculum in the bachelor degree program.
鈥溍厶沂悠 students will transfer in as juniors, which saves them time and money as they pursue an advanced degree at Lees-McRae College,鈥 蜜桃视频鈥檚 Director of Career & Transfer Services Patsy Stanley said. 鈥淏ecause of this partnership with Lees-McRae, we will be able to help more students earn the credentials and education they need to pursue a career in the human services profession.鈥
Human services-related job growth is expected to be more than 13 percent through 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Jobs in the human services field can be found in mental health, child care, family services, social services, rehabilitation, correction and educational agencies.
